Service Description

$25 - Proceeds from this class will be donated to the Peers Victoria Resources Society (Please note that since this is a one-time class as a fundraiser, class packages and credits are not valid) It’s the holiday season, and we are grateful for the abundance this year has provided PoleCoven. We’ve had our ups and downs, but we feel a profound privilege to be able to enjoy pole dance over this past year. We are humbled to give back to our local community. Come join us for a winter-themed Heels Choreography taught by the badass ice queen herself, Luna Yen. Let’s get our dark, sensual side out of hibernation and dance into the early sunset. It’s cold outside, so warm up with your fellow PoleCoven babes for a sultry evening of choreography and a couple icy moves. This holiday season, and every season, we honour our foremothers who brought us pole dance. We acknowledge the inequities experienced in the sex industry. The ability to experience empowerment in sensual movement and a positive sex work career is a privledge. We also recognize those in the industry who do not have the privilege of that choice, and for those in marginalized groups who cannot access the safety and resources we take for granted. This month, proceeds of this class and others are for charities chosen by the PoleCoven instructors. Proceeds of this Heel Choreography class will go to Peers Victoria Resource Prerequisites: To ensure injury prevention and a well-rounded, safe class, students should be able to comfortably execute: Basic platform heels technique Basic foundations spins What to wear: - We recommend at least 4", preferably 7” or 8” platform stilettos. - Indoor dance shoes only. - Knee pads are recommended but not required. - an outfit that honors your dark, winter vibe.
